It’s true. We’re one of The Best Christmas party venues in Sydney.
Oh the Silly Season. The time of year that produces feelings of dread and anticipation all at the same time. Between the relatives to appease with promised visits and the unspoken requirement to catch up with the entirety of ones’ acquaintances before Christmas Day, there just aren’t enough hours to stop and smell the spiced wine. Then you blink and it’s January again.
Working at Firefly means we dodge much of the Christmas stress. It’s our job to spend all of December looking after guests, and our friends and relatives know it so there’s no disappointment when we inevitably can’t catch up.
Working solidly through December means we save our staff Christmas party until January- when theres no competition from the rest of Sydney for a Christmas party venue. Heck, we’re working so hard through the silly season we barely have time to shop for gifts. Kris Kringle all the way baby!
Anyway enough about us. We’re here to talk about you. And how awesome we are at hosting fantastic Christmas parties. Without further adieu here’s a few reasons why you should have your work Christmas function or end of year get together at ours.
1. We’ve seen the ‘competition’
The starchy private dining rooms with terrible carpet and tiny canapés. The overpriced function spaces on Sydney harbour. The bowling alley/climbing wall/paintball themed places with their fancy team building notions. Did they all forget that “Christmas Party” has the word “party” in it?
2. We’re experienced
In the past nine silly seasons we have hosted literally hundreds of work Christmas functions as well as smaller family and friends events. We can bring together all of the elements of a great gathering to ensure guests have a wonderful time and organisers feel relaxed and stress free.
3. We are the ideal sized venue for so many types of gatherings
Get together for an intimate dinner with your nearest and dearest, or host a full scale standup cocktail party for one hundred guests. Perch indoors at the bar or sprawl over one long table in our outdoor area. The configurations are vast.
4. Our menu is a serious cut above the rest
Our menus are all designed to share. Alternate drop entrees and mains are boring. Our menus are designed to bring your guests together, to get them talking and building friendships that will be remembered long after their hangovers have worn off.
5. We make a mean Eggnog
We also make interesting innovative cocktails and any of the classics. Our wine game is strong; over one hundred and fifty wines, with thirty wines on the pour at any one time. Our beers are crafty and we have a few interesting draw cards like an Absinthe fountain, as well as the best Espresso Martini in the world. Or at least Sydney.
6. Our bar staff are hospitality black belts
