Our New Menu Reveal
Whether you’re visiting Firefly for a snack and a vino or an overdue catch up, you’ll want to stay long after you’ve tasted your way through our new menu.
We’ve got thirteen new share plates, all-new cocktail list, day friendly libations, and a bottomless spritz menu waiting for you.
ALL NEW SHARE PLATES
We’ve been hard at work and have created an expertly curated menu of smaller and larger plates that effortlessly balance reimagined classics that you’ll want to return to again and again.
7 NEW SMALL PLATES
Stand out hits include zucchini flowers with preserved lemon, ricotta, truffle honey, pine nuts and yoghurt and a local snapper ceviche with coriander emulsion.
The more adventurous will want to dive right into our fire-roasted cauliflower with rocket, sultanas, pine nuts and sumac, lime yoghurt or a citrus gin & beetroot cured salmon, pomegranate, orange, fennel and grapefruit vinaigrette. Both pair nicely with a crisp glass of Picpoul de Pinet thank you very much.
6 NEW LARGER PLATES
For the more substantially hungry can we recommend the flat iron steak tagliata with sweet potato and harissa.
And for seafood lovers, our Moreton bay bugs with conchiglione is both moreish and Instagram worthy.
11 NEW COCKTAILS
Cocktail drinkers rejoice! Our head bartender Ed has shaken and stirred up some delicious tasting elixirs. Named after our namesake, The Lucetta, made up of Vodka, strawberries, grapefruit, and cointreau is a must-try.
Paul & Paloma and Smooth Sailing differ in appearances but are equally as refreshing on a balmy afternoon.
If you prefer a stiff drink then be sure to order the bloody shiraz gin negroni. It’s as deadly as it sounds.
Rest assured, this Grande Dame still knows how to party. We’ve introduced a Bottomless Spritz package that will become a new favourite. Every Friday – Sunday from 12 NOON – 5:00 PM you can enjoy 90 minutes of endless spritz for a mere $39 per head.
And just because it’s an add on doesn’t mean it’s an afterthought. We are taking the whole affair very seriously and have created a spritz menu beyond the standard orange stuff, with three bespoke elixirs on offer.
Other than our new mouthwatering share plates, we have also curated a new set of drinks that you can enjoy any time of the day. Our focused wine offering is now accompanied by day friendly libations including Mecca coffee and Ovvio tea, house-made sodas and a very, very good bloody Mary made on homemade clamato juice.
This is our biggest menu change in 11 years, and we can’t wait for you to try it. Oh and don’t worry, the zucchini fries haven’t gone anywhere.
